We work hard to treat your clients with the care and concern that we would want ourselves when buying a home. Our priority is to give your client thorough knowledge of the home in an efficient way. We include pictures and simple explanations of any issues found in the inspection report.
We believe knowledge is power. We provide thorough, extensive reports that include pictures and easy to understand language. A long report does not equate a bad inspection, it means you now have detailed knowledge of the home you are investing in.
With all the moving parts of a real estate contract and small due diligence periods, having an inspection prior to entering into a contract will reduce any surprise delays that arise during buyer inspection. This can help you keep the time-line and closing moving forward without delay.
At first we didn't really think we would need a professional inspection as we are pretty good at noticing needed repairs and testing basic items. We were so glad we went ahead and scheduled Jon after a recommendation. We were able to be at the inspection and were very impressed with the thoroughness of the inspection. Not only is he very pleasant and professional, he was able to explain his findings and what type of experts we could consult for potential repair. In short he saved us many thousands of dollars on items that we would have overlooked.
We are purchasing property in the Blairsville area, I don't have any contacts of people to advise who to use. I found Jon's website and read the reviews; sent him a message late on a Wednesday, he responded promptly, we talked on Thursday and he was able to inspect the home on Friday, received the inspection Friday evening. Inspection was much more than I expected. Report was very concise, clear pictures, recommendations for repair or remediation, easily understood by his use of non layman verbiage. I would definitely recommend Jon and will use Best Mountain Home Inspections again if I find the need in this area. A++++ service.
Best Mountain was truly the best! Jon responded quickly when I reached out to schedule my inspection, showed up on time the day of and was professional throughout the entire experience. I had a complete report including picture and videos the same day! Jon also offered a consultation where he further explained his findings and answered all my questions. This experience was great and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for any kind of home inspection.
We utilize our drone in all of our inspections (weather permitting) in order to inspect all aspects of your home that would not be visible to the eye alone. The drone allows us to zoom in and take still shots on any areas of concern throughout the inspection. This technology, coupled with our extensive knowledge of construction and building science, offers our clients the most thorough inspection available.
We are Certified Radon Testers through Internachi. We take your safety seriously and offer testing approved for Real Estate transactions.
Radon is a gas that is emitted by decaying uranium. When you hear the word uranium you think of atom bombs and nuclear power plants like Chernobyl. However, uranium is ubiquitous in the Earth's surface. Radon is everywhere and it can be dangerous. For a more in depth understanding of Radon, we recommend you read this article by the EPA.
If the home you are buying or selling has high levels of Radon, mitigation systems are relatively inexpensive to install.
Do you know what is in your water? We offer basic water testing from a certified lab. We test for e-coli, total coli-form, iron, and manganese. We also offer more extensive tests that test for more contaminants.
